Step 1.
And the first thing you need to do is to order a «virtual server» service with any OS from the proposed list.
To do this, go to the «Products/Services» - «Virtual servers» and select “Order”
Step 2.
Choose the tariff plan and server from the offered and click «Order»
Step 3.
Now you need to select the parameters of the future server.
At this stage, you can choose the following: domain name, operating system, preinstalled software, number of public addresses, and also you can activate a license to the control panel.
After selecting the necessary parameters put a tick next to the «I have read and agree with the terms of service» inscription and click «To the cart» to pay for your order.
After payment you need to wait 10-15 minutes for the server to activate.
If you are satisfied with the selected OS, then the server configuration is complete. If you want to use some other distributive, then proceed to the next step.
Step 4.
After activation of the server go to the «Products/Services» section - «Virtual servers» and select «Go».
Step 5.
In the server control panel, go to the «Management» section - «ISO images» and click on the «Upload» icon.
Then select to upload the image (ISO image from local computer or URL of ISO image on another server).
After uploading the ISO image, it will appear in the panel.
Step 6.
To load from your ISO image, follow these steps:
Go to the section «Management» - «Virtual Machines» select the machine we are interested in and click «Stop». After stopping the virtual machine click «Disks» - «ISO», select the previously uploaded ISO image of the distributive, also choose the bus, virtual device and loading order, and then click «OK».
Next, you need to start the server by clicking on the “Start” button, and then pressing the VNC button to install the distributive from the ISO image on your virtual server. After certification of the installation, you need to disable the connected ISO image.
Please note that the disabled ISO image is automatically deleted in 24 hours.
